	We have always been number one in fulfilling the market needs and customer demands by providing the best solutions to its customers in the form of most advanced products at competitive price which are also in line with latest international standards. We introduced the latest Air Insulated Switchgear, Simoprime World fully compliant with new IEC 62271-200.


We have already provided more than 120 panels of Simoprime World to the local utility on the basis of Primary part from Siemens Indonesia and Secondary part locally manufactured at our works.


	The success of this project is the outcome of a series of constant efforts which enabled us to assist the utility in upgrading its requirements to bring them in line with latest international standards. We have also started to supply Simoprime World Switchgear to private sector as well. Century Papers, the leading name in paper industry in Pakistan has been served with this top of the line product.

Another milestone achieved in the Simoprime World project is the acquisition of License from Siemens AG for complete local manufacturing of this switchgear in SPC Pakistan.This was indeed a significant achievement and is a result of consistent team work of all departments. Another major order over 100 panels has been received from Fatima Fertilizer Limited.

The next step is to introduce Simoprime World switchgear in WAPDA network on which certain actions have already been successfully taken and orders for private WAPDA grids at Bahria Town Lahore, Bahria Town Islamabad & Flying Cement are under production.

We have always tried to maintain our prices to the best competitive level by taking every measure to offer cost effective & still innovative solutions to our customers. The recent increase in raw material prices, Euro to PKR exchange rate, global increase in Oil & Energy prices is affecting our cost situation badly. Also, steel, copper & aluminum have risen through 2006, 2007 and into 2008 and in order to maintain same consistency in the quality of our products, we anticipate an impact on our product prices with an increase of approximately 5-6% as compared to last year’s price levels. We, however, will make every endeavor to cut costs and increase efficiency so that the customers are benefited from these measures in future.
