| Siemens expert lectures at N.E.D. University | ||||||
 Mr.Mohammad Alashqar sales Manager Asia and Africa PTD H513 Siemens Germany delivered a lecture to students at the N.E.D. University of engineering and Technology in Karachi. His topic was the Techniques to protect the High Voltage Equipment at the Grid Station. Approx. 150 Students listened to his lecture with rapt attention in the University auditorium.
Mr.Alashqar was born graduated from Islamic University of Gaza in Power Engineering and did his MS in Power Engineering from Germany in 2004.His visit was organized by Siemens Pakistan.

Siemens
donated a sum of one million Euro for the establishment
of a chiar at LUMS School of Science and Engineering.
The Project Director, Mr. Khurram Afridi in a letter to
Mr. Sohail Wajahat, MD & CEO Siemens Pakistan thanked
Siemens for their generous contribution and said that
the donation enables LUMS to create a completely new
model for Science and Engineering education in Pakistan,
a world class research school that teaches our students
tomorrow’s science. Mr. Afridi in his letter further
stated that LUMS SSE will aim to create opportunity and
Siemens role in this is crucial. It enables LUMS to
reach students from all socio, economic levels and
provides them access to a quality education, till now
reserved for a privileged few.
Siemens supported the awards ceremony organized by Pakistan
Federation of Business and Professional Women’s
Organization. The awards were given to outstanding women
from all walks of life. Siemens leads in the country in
supporting women organizations working for the emancipation
of women and recognition of achievements by women in various
walks of life.
